"No Flip" Grilled Salmon Recipe

If you like the smoky flavor of grilled salmon, but I hate disaster risk trying to return it, then this "no flip" recipe grilled salmon is for you. Cooks salmon skin side only, and heat transfer through the smoke flavor slowly and subtle texture resulting wet network.

Makes 4 small or 2 large servings "No Flip" grilled salmon

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes

Total time: 20 minutes

ingredients:
• 1 pound fresh salmon, skin on
• 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
• Kosher salt to taste
• Freshly ground black pepper
• 1/2 bunch scallions, uncut
• 4 sprigs of tarragon
• lemon slices, optional

Preparation:

Preheat a charcoal grill or gas. Brush the flesh side of salmon with oil. Apply salt and freshly ground pepper to taste black. Scatter the herbs on top, and place skin side down on the grill. Close the lid and cook without turning for 10-15 minutes (depending on thickness) or until salmon is just cooked.

The skin darkens, but isolate the fish and avoid drying less cooked. The surface may appear slightly translucent salmon, but should be slightly firm to the touch and very warm. Remove and cover with foil and let stand 5 minutes before serving with lemon. Herbs can be discarded or used as a garnish
